CANDLE CARE
A little care creates a beautiful burn.

Before Each Burn
• Trim the wick to approximately 1/4 inch before lighting.
• Place your candle on a stable, heat-resistant surface away from drafts, curtains, and other flammable materials.
• Keep the candle upright and free from dust, debris, matches, and wick trimmings.

First Burn
Allow the first burn to continue long enough for the wax to melt evenly across most of the surface. This helps establish an even melt pool and supports a more consistent burn throughout the life of the candle. Do not burn for more than 4 hours at a time.

During Use
• Never leave a burning candle unattended.
• Keep away from children and pets.
• Keep the flame away from moving air, including fans and open windows.
• Do not move the candle while the wax is liquid or the vessel is hot.
• Never burn a candle on or near anything that can catch fire.

When to Extinguish
Discontinue use when approximately 1/2 inch of wax remains in the vessel. Do not allow the flame to burn directly against the vessel. Never burn the candle all the way down.

Extinguishing Your Candle
Use a candle snuffer when possible, or gently blow out the flame. Avoid using water to extinguish a candle, and allow the vessel and wax to cool completely before handling.

Caring for Your Vessel
Once the candle has completely cooled, keep the vessel clean and dry. Do not pour hot wax down a drain. When the candle is finished, the vessel may be cleaned according to the material and reused where appropriate.
